Cofounder CLI
Migrating from the Web App
Coming from the browser-based Cofounder: how web app concepts map to the CLI and MCP, and what carries over.
If you knew Cofounder as a browser product, this is the same account and the same companies. The difference is who's driving. The web app put you in a dashboard; here your agent does the work. Your companies, files, connections, and billing carry over unchanged.
How things map
| Web app | CLI / MCP |
|---|---|
| Workspace and departments | The company: same scope, one selection |
| Library tab | cofounder library, library_* tools: same files |
| Managed services (GitHub, Vercel, Supabase) | repo, code, deploy, hosting, database command families |
| Agent tasks | Roadmap nodes: roadmap_get, roadmap_nodes_prompt_get |
| Settings | cofounder company settings get, cofounder user settings update |
First steps
- Connect your agent or install the CLI and sign in with the account you already have.
cofounder company list; your companies are already there.cofounder company resources list; so is everything you provisioned.
There's nothing to migrate: the data didn't move, the surface did. Start with the Quickstart to feel the agent-first loop.
